Daikin MagnitudeTM magnetic bearing chillers have MicroTech® E unit controllers with the Open ChoicesTM feature for easy integration with your building automation system (BAS) of choice. McQuay conducts thorough, pro-active testing with BAS suppliers for strict compliance with BACnet, Modbus and LonTalk protocols, and provides integration support for the life of our HVAC equipment.
Optional communications modules plug into the Magnitude chiller unit controller. Communication protocol options include:
- BACnet® MS/TP
- BACnet IP and Ethernet
- Modbus®
- LonTalk® ( LONMARK® 3.4 certified)
Communication modules can be changed should the life of the equipment exceed the life of your BAS.
Both the BACnet Protocol Implementation and Conformance Statements (PICS) and the LONMARK eXternal Interface Files (XIFs) are available on the MicroTech E control integration listings.
